Allen

Allen is currently serving as a Trooper with the Idaho State Police, a position he’s held since January 2007. Prior to Idaho State Police , Allen served as a Patrol Officer for Bonners Ferry Police Department and worked in law enforcement since 2001. He has a Bachelors degree in Justice Studies and is working towards a Masters degree in Public Administration. Allen has also completed numerous advanced law enforcement and college courses on adolescent issues and has worked with various school districts throughout Idaho developing Emergency Action Plans and addressing safety issues in both public and private school settings.

Allen has worked various assignments with “at-risk” youth and young adults, including being a D.A.R.E. and School Resource Officer in Junior High, High School, and Alternative High School settings. He enjoys working as a counselor at a large adolescent church camp in Montana.
